I attended A&E with chest pains, the service I received felt personal and was listened to. Everything that was going to happen and was happening was explained and what would happen next. Made the whole experience that much easier. I felt that mr Andren had great customer care and people skills.

Dr Andren listened very carefully to my symptoms, quickly he listed the tests he wanted to run. Although A&E was very busy he always returned with an update. I needed blood taken, both needles were almost painless, he is obviously very good at taking blood.

I was taken to Epsom hospital on the 11th January 2015. James was the doctor who was treating me and what a very pleasant, capable, competant young man he was. He was very efficient, caring and explained everthing he was doing, or going to do and why he was doing it. He made sure i was comfortable at all times addressing me with politeness, and a fantastic bedside manner. The care and attention I received was second to none. James is an asset to the NHS if only they could clone him.

I had the misfortune to be admitted to the A & E at Epsom Hospital over the Christmas period after suffering from the aftermath of a bout of chest infections etc. ( I was visiting relatives at the time) I felt very comfortable at this hospital with everybody going about their business in a quiet manor. The doctor, whilst only young was very thorough when examining me and explained at every stage as to what was going to happen and how long things would take. I cannot commend this doctor enough as to how my problems were handled and wish him well for his future career.

My husband was taken ill in the early hours and was brought to Epsom General Hospital A&E, where James Andren was the Doctor who examined him. We were immediately put at ease by this Doctor, who introduced himself to us, explained clearly what tests he was going to run (and why). He had a sympathetic and reassuring manner and was competent and skilled throughout the examination. We had the utmost confidence in the treatment my husband received and the decision to admit him as an in-patient, though unwelcome, was explained clearly and was accepted by us as the only way to proceed. A worrying and unpleasant experience was made easier by James Andren and his colleagues.
